I worked at the McGill Conservatory Day Camp for 14 camp seasons before joining the YMCA team!

When did you know that you were a camp person?
When I realized that I was being criticized in my academic life for things I was being praised for in my camp life!

What's your favourite word? Sparkle!

What you are looking forward to doing this summer at camp?
Discovering the uniqueness of each of our camps, helping amazing staff members to be even better and helping our great programming to be known and recognized by everyone!

When did you know that you were a camp person?
What drew me to YMCA Day Camps was the inclusion program for campers with different needs and diverse abilities. Camp has allowed me the opportunity to work in a field that I am passionate about, where I have the ability to effect change.

What's your favourite word? Hustle

What you are looking forward to doing this summer at camp?
Giving campers and staff an opportunity to grow and discover new things about themselves.

What do you like and dislike? Like: DC Universe Animated Movies
Dislike: Spiders!

Favourite thing about working for the camps?
During my first summer at the camp, I meet a group of counsellors and staff members who are so dedicated to making the kids happy they create fun and crazy activities and imaginary worlds. That’s when I knew I was in the right place.

What is your favourite word? Topinambour (the Jerusalem artichoke)

What do you look forward to doing at the camp this summer?
Seeing our amazing team of counsellors and creating magical memories with the kids; working with the coordinators to make this summer memorable for all of us.

What are your likes and dislikes?
I love travelling and discovering new cultures.
I hate when I burn the cookies I’m baking.
