Day Camps

A summer to remember starts at the YMCA!

From sports to arts and crafts to games to theme days and so much more—spending your summer in a YMCA day camp means spending every day doing a wide range of fun and stimulating activities.

But what really sets the YMCA apart is our approach. Camp life is about making meaningful connections and friends. It’s about being part of an inclusive, diverse community where everyone can learn, grow, explore, and play. Camp is a safe space where kids and youth can build up their courage to get out of their comfort zone, improving their confidence and autonomy along the way.

How do we do this? Consult our “Why YMCA Days Camps” section to learn more.

New for 2023!

Not only are swimming lessons back at the Cartierville, du Parc, Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, and Westmount YMCAs but our programming has been expanded:

  • The Creative Camp program is making its debut at the Grier Park site in Pierrefonds-Roxboro.
  • A new English Immersion program will be offered at the Westmount YMCA.
  • The Urban Explorers, Energik, and Counsellor-in-Training programs will be offered at more sites this summer.
  • Updated programming in the YMCA Concordia Fine Arts Camp means the budding artist can choose from a wide range of programs to get their creative groove on this summer!

  • have more self-confidence
  • are more autonomous
  • have an easier time making friends
  • have greater environmental awareness
  • and are more inclined to take part in physical activities
